Even when someone deeply wants something to shift, the nervous system may still hold on to familiar patterns, simply because they are known, predictable, and therefore easier to survive. This is why insight alone is often not enough. Real change does not happen through pressure, force, or self-criticism, but through creating enough safety, capacity, and inner stability for something new to become possible.

In one-to-one work, the focus is not on pushing you to change faster. It is on helping you build the conditions in which change can happen naturally, honestly, and in a way your whole system can actually hold.
